Schmitts’ Quest for the Cure is hosting it’s 7th annual 5k and 1st annual Virtual 5k on 9/27/20-10/11/20, in Nomahegan Park, Cranford, NJ.
We cordially invite your company to become a sponsor of this 5K event and play a role in achieving our goal of raising funds to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. As a corporate sponsor, your company will be positioned in what will be a highly visible community event, with a number of community partners, resources, and participants. We’ll also promote your company in other ways, depending on your sponsorship level as outlined in the attachment.
Your company may prefer to provide gift certificates, food/drink for race participants, or items for door prizes that will be given away after the race. We certainly welcome these types of contributions, as well. Schmitts’ Quest for the Cure nonprofit originated as a family and friends team that rode each year in the Tour de Cure, a national fundraising event for diabetes research and treatment. After 11 years of enthusiastic participation, we took our fundraising efforts to the next level and created a 501(c)3 organization to afford us the best opportunity to raise money to help find a cure for Type I diabetes and support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Our organization has collaborated on a variety of previous fundraisers, with a total of almost 1,000 participants.
